Firefighters in Hillsdale County are still on the scene of a major fire in an empty commercial building.
Hillsdale Township fire chief Mike Rose tells 6 News that the former meat packaging plant on the 4300 block of State Road in Adams Township is a total loss.
The fire was called in at 9:15 p.m. and crews worked until 4:30 a.m. to bring it under control.
At least two fire departments responded to the fire at the old meat packaging plant.
The cause is still under investigation and this story will be updated through the day.
