Celtics Co-Owner Pagliuca Buys $8.2 Million Home In Narragansett

Pagliuca said he had the chance to buy the vacation house he was renting.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Boston Celtics Co-owner Stephen Pagliuca has decided where he wants to spend next year's off season.

Pagliuca purchased the house about a month ago for $8.2 million and spent his Labor Day there with his family. According to the tax assessor's office, it's the most expensive single-family home ever sold in Narragansett.

Although Pagliuca never lived in Rhode Island, he told NewportRI he's loved his Narragansett vacations the last two years. He said he had the chance to buy the vacation house he was renting.

“Spending the last summer there, (it was) just kind of a magical vacation,” Pagliuca told NewportRI. “Great weather, great beach, great people.”

Pagliuca's new home is 5,202 square feet with five bedrooms and an in-ground pool.
