‘Blood, Sweat & Heels’ Star Melyssa Ford Rushed Back To Hospital As Brawl Injuries Worsen

Things got a little too real on a reality TV show, and now Blood, Sweat & Heels star Melyssa Ford is on her way back to the hospital due to injuries she sustained when another star of the show took a vodka bottle to the side of her head.

On Wednesday, news broke that there had been a scuffle between two of the stars of Bravo’s hit reality show, Blood, Sweat & Heels. The two pugilists: 30-year-old Geneva Thomas and 37-year-old model Melyssa Ford. Ford apparently caught the worst of it, according to reports, when Thomas knocked her one on the head with a bottle of vodka.

Speculation that Thomas’ weapon of choice was a bottle of Ciroc Red Berry are as yet unconfirmed.

Jokes aside, it looks like Thomas hit Ford pretty hard, as she was booked on felony assault charges. As TMZ notes, this was not a scripted reality TV fight. This was Real Deal Holyfield, and Ford had to be taken to the hospital for her injuries.

Now word emerges that Ford has actually been taken back to Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Somebody with a camera got footage to TMZ that shows Ford getting out of a car and into a waiting wheelchair to check into the hospital.

“I was attacked,” Ford replied when asked what had happened to her, apparently deciding to leave off the “Duh.” Ford declined to show just what the injury that the massive bandage on her head was covering looked like, and she wasn’t exactly forthcoming on how things will proceed between her and Thomas.

“Ongoing investigation,” Ford said when asked about whether she was going to press charges against Thomas. “I can’t comment.”

The extent of Ford’s injuries is unknown, but some reports hold that Melyssa sustained a cut on her head big enough to require three stitches. The fact that Ford was back at the hospital two days later, though, suggests that her injuries might have been even more serious than stitches.

The Young, Black, and Fabulous got even more shots of Melyssa that show that (what we’ll just call) the Ciroc Shellacking left the reality star with more than just a head injury. Ford also cut her foot on the shattered glass after Thomas broke the bottle over her head. Pics show Ford hopping along on crutches, with one foot well bandaged.
