Man seriously injured after crash sparks fire

BUTLER COUNTY, MO (KAIT) - A crash caused a car to catch fire and seriously injured a Senath, MO man Monday night.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Michael S. Autry, 21, was driving north on Route FF in Butler County.

At around 9:50 p.m., Autry crossed the center line and struck a 2010 Ford Focus.

A helicopter took Autry to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Jarrica L. Williams, 18, of Broseley, MO, and Alyssa L. Cureton, 20, of Marquand, MO, went to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

The report states Cureton was the only one without her seatbelt on.
