Triad Engineering Inc.

Triad Engineering Inc. has promoted Bradley A. Reynolds to chief executive officer.

Reynolds graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a registered professional civil engineer.

He has been with the firm for more than 24 years and specializes in the fields of civil, geotechnical and construction engineering. Reynolds has been an instrumental leader at Triad, the company reported in a news release, serving in roles such as field engineering technician, senior geotechnical engineer, geotechnical and quality control practice leader and, most recently, as regional manager in charge of Triad’s Eastern Region operations.

Triad is a multi-discipline engineering firm that has been serving the mid-Atlantic region for more than 42 years. Triad has offices in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

CNB Bank

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Steven Shaffer was recently named assistant vice president and cash management officer at CNB Bank.

Shaffer has more than 25 years of experience in his field. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Payments Association.

Shaffer attended Northern Virginia Community College, where he studied business management with a specialization in finance, and is a graduate of the Barret Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, Tenn. He is a member of the chambers of commerce in Morgan and Berkeley counties of W.Va. and Washington County, Md. He is a 2012 graduate of the Leadership Berkeley program.

Shaffer lives in Inwood, W.Va., with his wife Nicole and son Emerson.

Triple Crown Construction

FREDERICK, Md. — Triple Crown Construction has hired Cassandra Soto as brand and marketing strategist.

Soto will focus on brand awareness in the construction and hotel renovation industries, as well as the company’s involvement in the local community. She will oversee Triple Crown’s participation in local events, sponsorships and partnerships, and the means by which the company helps the Frederick community continue to thrive and grow.

Before joining the Triple Crown family, she served as project manager for Catoctin Construction Management DC Inc. in Middletown for nearly six years, handling marketing, sales, business development, project administration and other duties.

Soto has a bachelor’s degree in interior design from La Roche College in her hometown of Pittsburgh and serves as the vice chairwoman for Blue Crabs and Blue Prints, an annual crab feast to raise money for Frederick County Habitat for Humanity build projects. She also volunteers at the local Habitat chapter in Frederick.

Plamondon Hospitality Partners

FREDERICK, Md. — Plamondon Hospitality Partners has added three new employees to its management team, one at the company’s corporate office in Frederick and two at the company’s newest hotel, The Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia Fulton, opening later this year.

Joanna Tootill, area sales manager, brings a wealth of hotel experience to Plamondon. Before joining PHP, she worked in the Washington, D.C., market as an area account executive for Marriott International. As the new area sales manager, she will oversee account management for the company’s six hotels in Frederick and Hagerstown.

Meredith Emerson joins the PHP team as the director of sales at the new Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia/Fulton. She formerly served as the dual director of sales for Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott Salisbury, giving her experience with the Marriott brands.

Stan Martin joins PHP as the general manager of the new Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia/Fulton. He brings more than 30 years of hotel experience in a wide variety of management and above property roles, for both independent management companies and Marriott International. Most recently, he served as the interim general manager for Plamondon’s Fairfield Inn & Suites and TownePlace Suites in Altoona, Pa.

Plamondon Hospitality Partners is a hotel management and development company located in Frederick. Its portfolio includes several Marriott and Hilton properties across three states.
