The Miami Dolphins and 2019 third-round pick Michael Deiter agreed to contract terms on Friday, according to a league source.

Deiter, a Wisconsin guard Miami selected in the third round, is expected to receive a four-year deal worth $3.9 million. His contract should also include a signing bonus that will pay him roughly $981,500, according to the source.

Deiter was the only remaining Dolphins draft pick to not yet reach a deal, as third-round picks typically have more negotiating flexibility with their signing bonuses.

Miami’s five other 2019 draft picks — defensive tackle Christian Wilkins, linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel, offensive tackle Isaiah Prince, fullback Chandler Cox and tailback Myles Gaskins — agreed to terms before May’s rookie minicamp.

Deiter, a four-year starter for the Badgers, spent some time working at right guard, left guard and backup center during Dolphins offseason practices in the last month.

He could compete for a starting job on the Dolphins offensive line as a rookie, when training camp begins in late July.
