CONCORD, NH — A presumed to be armed and dangerous fugitive, who was to be previewed today as the U.S. Marshals New Hampshire fugitive of the week, was found and arrested yesterday in Vermont. Glenn Michael Adjutant, 21, was wanted on a warrant issued out of the U.S. District Court for a bail violation after being indicted on drug dealing charges earlier this month. The warrant was issued on May 3, 2019, according to Jeffrey White of the U.S. Marshals Service.

The District of New Hampshire – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week notices are shared with media outlets, including Patch, since 2011, days ahead of schedule to be posted on Wednesday. The notices are also shared with members of local, regional, and state law enforcement agencies and marshals around the United States.

Adjutant – who has ties to Stratford and Colebrook and previously lived in Beecher Falls, VT – was suspected of being in possession of a stolen handgun, White alleged, which made the case “a high priority.” Task force members in both New Hampshire and Vermont “actively tracked down leads” which led them to an apartment building on Route 105 in West Charleston, VT.

“Adjutant was located inside this residence and arrested without incident,” White stated. “This arrest was cross-border cooperative effort between the US Marshals Fugitive Task Forces from both New Hampshire and Vermont.”

Through these efforts, White noted, Adjutant was safely arrested and brought to court to be arraigned yesterday.

Adjutant was charged in federal court on April 10, with drug trafficking as part of a joint law enforcement investigation that ensnared 17 individuals from Colebrook, Stratford, and Stewartstown, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. On Monday, 12 of those individuals – including Adjutant – were indicted. Adjutant was indicted on charges of distribution of Suboxone within 1,000 feet of a school and distribution of Suboxone and amphetamine (Adderall) within 1,000 feet of a school.
