The name Ojeaga Alugeh has become an house hold name in Nigeria when the Nigeria Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) , Yaba, Lagos certified Mojeaga Herbal Remedy to be safe at the therapeutic dose based on the result of acute toxity study carried out on the product.

In the same vein the Hong Kong Journal of obstetrics and Gynecology also reported on the “successful management of severe anemia without blood transfusion in pregnancy and puerperium using Mojeaga as adjunct therapy and there are clinical trial of Mojeaga Herbal Remedy ongoing in three University Teaching Hospitals in the Nigeria.

But the endorsement of Dr. Peter Emuchay of the renown University College Hospital, Ibadan, Chief Medical Director of a National Medical Team in Nigeria, with headquarters in Lagos, also lend credence to efficacy and safety of Mojeaga as adjunct therapy for correcting anemia in gynecological and obstetrics patients.

According to Dr Emuchay, “whoever produced Mojeaga Herbal Remedy must have had divine guidance from God. It is liquid miracle in a bottle and since we started using Mojeaga nationwide, no more blood transfusions. The antioxidant composition is something else. Its wound healing effect and fast recovery of patients, irrespective of their malady, very remarkable. Attention of Ministry of Health workers need to be drawn,”

In an interview with the Nigerian Observer in Benin City, Mr Monday Ojeaga Alugeh, Managing Director of Mojeaga International Ventures limited disclosed that the Mojeaga Herbal Remedy has been certified since 2010 by NAFDAC and they have given us the approval.

He said because of the efficacy of the product efforts have been made over the years to continue to improve on it so that it will be acceptable to those in the medical community and today we are happy that the product is been accepted by pharmacists and medical doctors.

According to him, “the history about the product started about 32 years ago. I had three sons who were suffering from serious problem, anemia. They had typhoid and malaria which affected their blood. We tried to build and build the blood, but eventually we lost the second boy who was seven years then.

“Even before the death of the boy I heard about this product called Mojeaga, it was a very crude herbal product then. I told the doctors about it and they said I should not bother myself about herbal products and they should continue to do what they can do medically until that boy died.

“We cried and buried him. After two weeks, the third boy, Michael’s condition became very bad; he is now our marketing manager. He was five years then. The PCV dropped to 12 percent, the hemoglobin was 4.8 percent. The condition was so bad, he was paper white and anything he takes in he will vomit it.

“The heart was panting. Then my eldest son PCV was 19 percent, so two of them were really down. I took them for lab test. When I took the rest to the doctor he said what? He said I just lost a son seven years and this one is at the verge of dying.

In the doctor’s words, “the boy is not a sickle cell patient; he can collapse and die now with the PCV of 12 percent. When he looked at the other one, 19 percent, he asked me what is destroying my children’s blood.

“Immediately he said so, I pinched myself and said the doctor can no longer help me, I must go for that herbal product. When I got home I told my wife that we are about to lose our three sons and that I have to go to far Kwara state to get the product which was very crude. I was thought how to prepare it.

“I arrived back to Benin at about 1:30 am and I gave the boy and in the next fifteen minutes that heavy breathing and high body temperature started coming down. Within an hour he said he wants to eat, but we were afraid because if he takes anything he vomits it.

“We gave him food he did not vomit, next he said he wants to urinate, and less than two hours he fell asleep, and while sleeping we went to check the heart to know if he was still breathing. The boy slept and woke up and said he want to eat again.

“In fact, the next day, in the afternoon the boy stood up and went to look for a small ball to play and within two days he started running up and down, all those whitish body, everything changed and in three days the boy recovered as well as the other boy.

“After about a week or ten days, it was like magic, could it be true, will the blood collapse again and we had to go for another test. The PCV rose from 12 percent to 34 percent. I kept the result till today. The hemoglobin from 4 to 10.8 percent.

“I went back to the doctor to show him the lab results. When he saw me coming he thought I had come to announce that the boy had died. I showed him the results and he was shocked and asked again if this was the result of that your boy.

“It was because of that I started going to collect the product, process it from its crude form, and results started tripping in. I will buy and process, put in a bottle for people to buy. People that were rejected from the hospital.

“I gave it a name Paragon blood expander. At a stage I wanted to do away with it because the odor was very offensive. But when I started seeing the results, women who see me on the way will kneel down to appreciate me, that the medicine saved their child. Saved my husband, my wife.

“For fifteen years I was going there to collect the product but after fifteen years I started doing research on the product and many things I did not know became known and in 2010 we met NAFDAC that told us what to do, how to refine it and we got the approval of what we are marketing today.
