Grover C. Wall, 90, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006.
Mr. Wall was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church; Masonic Lodges 215 and 336; the Virginia Peninsula Campers Club; and had retired from Newport News Shipbuilding after 40 years of service.
Mr. Wall is survived by his wife of 66 years, Thelma Wall; daughter, Peggy Nacci of Lanexa, Va.; son, Dale Wall and his wife, Sandy, of Newport News; granddaughter, Jackie Hudson of Warrensville, N.C.; grandson, Roger Wall and his wife, Anna; great-granddaughters, Crystal Hayes and her husband, Mark, of Lanexa, and Brianna Wall of Newport News; great-grandson, Josh Hudson of Maryland; and great-great-grandson, Mark J. Hayes of Lanexa.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, by the Rev. Delia M. Parrish. Burial will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park.
