Naomi Campbell was unable to attend the Black Alumni of Pratt’s annual Celebration of the Creative Spirit gala on Tuesday, so she asked longtime model pal Christy Turlington to step in and accept her lifetime achievement award.
“When a sister calls and asks you to stand in her shoes, you say yes, and so I am here,” Turlington told the crowd at the Park Hyatt.
