William Franklin Branum, Jr.

William Franklin Branum, Jr., 80, of Leachville, passed from this life Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the Monette Manor Nursing Center. Born in Hornersville, Mo., to the late William F. and Virginia Mae Goff Branum, he was a 1955 graduate of Arbyrd High School and had been an Arbyrd area resident for many years. He had lived in Leachville since 1990 where he owned and operated Branum's Electronic Services.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Phil Branum and Kermit Branum.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Hamilton Branum of Leachville; four sons, Daniel Branum of Palm Springs, Calif., David Branum of Summerville, S.C., Donald Branum of Marmaduke and Dennis Branum (Candi) of Paragould; two daughters, Cindy Pierce (Gerald) of Arbyrd, Mo., and Vicky Glueck (Roger) of Marmaduke; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.
