Josh Groban made a surprise appearance at “Hamilton” alum Leslie Odom Jr.‘s solo gig in New York on Thursday night.

Introducing Groban as “the turtleneck king of Pittsburgh” (as he apparently once owned every type of turtleneck imaginable), Odom Jr. talked of guys’ time together at Carnegie Mellon University before Groban belted out “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Singer Jennifer Holliday also made a guest turn at the show, and spies said she brought tears to people’s eyes as she crooned the Etta James classic “At Last.”

Tony-winning Odom Jr. did an encore of “Dear Theodosia” — his only song from “Hamilton” of the night — with two of his former castmates there in the audience to support him: Renée Elise Goldsberry and Okieriete Onaodowan.

Odom Jr.’s residency at the McKittrick Hotel’s Manderley Bar ends on July 28.
