YORK - A Hagerstown, Md., woman died Tuesday, two weeks after she refused medical treatment following a crash in a store parking lot.

Marguerite Flores, 77, was pronounced dead shortly before 10 a.m. Oct. 30 at York Hospital, according to York County Coroner Pamela Gray.

Flores was involved in a crash around 5:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in the parking lot of Sam's Club off Wesel Blvd., Hagerstown. She was operating her vehicle in the parking lot when she was struck by a truck, the coroner's office said, citing Hagerstown police. She was wearing her seatbelt at the time, and the airbags did not deploy.

Flores declined medical treatment at the scene, but she began having rib pain soon after returning home. She was first treated at Waynesboro Hospital, but was transferred to York Hospital as her condition declined.

A news release from the York County coroner did not say when she was transferred.

An autopsy was completed Thursday, Nov. 1. The cause and manner of death are pending additional testing.
