A showing of the HBO film “Private Violence,” a film about domestic violence, will be shown at 6 p.m. at the Longmont Public Library 409 Fourth Ave., Longmont. Admission is free. Go to longmontdomesticviolence.org.

A presentation on social justice for Native Americans called “Ending Jim Crow in Alaska” will be at 6:30 p.m. at Dawson School Arts Center, 10455 Dawson Drive, Lafayette. The event includes a screening of the film “For the Rights of All: Ending Jim Crow in Alaska” followed by a discussion facilitated by Mervyn Tano, president of the International Institute.
