Amber Alert: 4 children abducted in Sullivan County

Alfred Franklin

Tina Esquilin

MONTICELLO, N.Y. -- Amber Alerts have been issued for four young children in Monticello, who officials believe were abducted by a couple who lost custody of the children.

Jacob Esquilin, 4; Jionni Torres, 2; Assata Franklin, 6 months; and Gabriella Torres, disappeared late Wednesday night. Gabriella Torres' age was not provided, but multiple media reports say she is 5 years old.

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office believes Tina Esquilin, 27, and Alfred Franklin, 30, took off with the kids.

The couple took the children after a court order removed them from their custody due to neglect and suspected drug activity, according to the Amber Alert.

Tina Esquilin is described as 5-foot-4-inch tall hispanic woman, about 169 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Franklin is described as a 6-foot-1-inch tall black man, about 220 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Photos and additional description of the children have not yet been released.

Anyone with information on this abduction is asked to (866) NYS-AMBER or dial 911.
