Manchester United are willing to include players in their offer for AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman. Though Strootman wants to see the move happen, Roma have slapped a £60 million price-tag on the Dutchman.
RAI Sport says United hope to convince Roma to settle on a more realistic price by including Juan Mata or Marouane Fellaini in their January proposal.
The initial reaction from Roma is they're keen to discuss the offer.
The Giallorossi see Mata as an ideal replacement for Adem Ljajic, while Fellaini is under consideration of they cannot do a deal for PSG youngster Adrien Rabiot.
