It's safe to say that we've been a little confused about the future of reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel. You may remember hearing rumors earlier this year that the two were planning to break up. I didn't believe it at first, until I was glued to the TV watching Premios Juventud last week and saw Yandel close the show alone. That's when the rumors really got going that the two were done for good. So are they or aren't they?

In an interview with People En Espanol Yandel cleared the air and confirmed that the duo won't be breaking up anytime soon, woohoo!

After 14 years of working together, Yandel said the whole thing was just chisme. During a concert in Puerto Rico, while on stage Don Omar told the crowd that Yandel was going to be starting a solo career. The buzz started traveling that Yandel was choosing to become a solo artist because of differences within the duo. Turns out that wasn't true at all and the two are getting along great. While it is true that Yandel collaborated with Don Omar on a single and has a few solo projects going, he is still working with Wisin. Since the awkward incident, El Don has apologized for the misunderstanding.

At the end of the day it seems like even though these two have separate projects here and there, they always come back their strong roots as "el duo de la historia."
