Tilly Ramsay dealt crushing blow hours before Strictly Come Dancing live show

TILLY RAMSAY has been dealt a poor hand just hours before the Strictly Come Dancing live show.

Strictly: Tilly Ramsay says Adam’s elimination was ‘bittersweet'

On Saturday night’s the remaining celebrities will take to the dancefloor for Musicals Week in a bid to impress the judges. Last weekend, Sara Davies was eliminated from the competition after landing in the bottom two with Tilly Ramsay. In the end, the judges decided to save Gordon Ramsay’s daughter.

However, Tilly’s luck may run out this weekend, as according to bookmaker Betfair she could be at risk of elimination.

The 20-year-old, who has landed in the bottom two twice so far, is one of the bookies’ favourites to leave.

BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker is also in the running to face elimination.

While McFly singer Tom Fletcher has odds of 4/1 to leave.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: "The betting suggests Dan Walker's time on Strictly may finally be up.

“As he is the 11/8 favourite to foxtrot away from the ballroom this weekend having somehow managed to avoid a dance-off on the show to date.

“But the breakfast presenter is only slightly ahead of Tilly Ramsay at 7/4 who has been in the last two dance-offs and found herself reprieved by the judges."

EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis is still the overwhelming favourite to lift the Glitterball Trophy this year.

Speaking to host Tess Daly after she found out she was in the bottom two for the second week in a row, Tilly said: "I love this dance and I'd love to do it again.

"I will just try and make it even better."

Turning to judge Shirley Ballas, Tess continued: "Shirley, this is Tilly's second week in the dance-off.

"Can you offer her some words of encouragement now?"

Shirley replied: "First of all, Tilly you are a woman on a mission.

"You will go out there. You will do exactly what you did, listen to the music and make no mistakes.

"This comes down to the bone now. This is close, everybody is great.

"But I am confident if you can hold up that frame, make no mistakes [then] you should be just fine."

Throughout the series, the bookmakers have been keeping a close eye on the celebrities as they predict who could be the one to lift the Glitterball Trophy.

With Rose the favourite to win, John Whaite follows close behind the soap star with odds of 5/1.

AJ Odudu and her dance partner Kai Widdrington are also in the running to win with odds of 8/1.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturday at 6.35pm on BBC One.
