Tyson Fury brands heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua a ‘carthorse’ who can’t box
The former world heavyweight champ is on the comeback trail as he looks to reclaim his crown from Anthony Joshua after a two-year doping ban
TYSON FURY has branded Anthony Joshua a "carthorse" and claims the heavyweight champion can't box.
The Gypsy King, 29, is hoping to make his comeback following a two-year doping ban with a mega-fight against Joshua.
In the two years Fury has been away from the sport, Joshua,28, has risen to the become the No1 guy in the heavyweight division.
He's clinched six notable wins over the likes of Dillian Whyte, Charles Martin and Wladimir Klitschko, winning the IBF, WBA and IBO heavyweight titles along the way.
Fury believes Joshua will always be the type of fighter he is, because of his build, saying the ex-Olympian is a limited fighter.
Speaking after watching friend Billy Joe Saunders beat David Lemieux in Canada, Fury said: “He can never change that because you can never make a carthorse into a racehorse. He’s not built for movement and speed, he’s built for power.

“You can’t make a power man a speed man and without speed and movement in heavyweight boxing you’re a limited fighter."
The Gypsy King doesn’t believe AJ has improved any in that span, saying he is still the same man with a “few more muscles on him.”
Fury added: “He’s still the same man he was when I last boxed two years ago. He’s still the same, just a bit heavier and with a few more muscles on him. That’s it really.
“The man can’t box, he’s not a boxer, he’s a brawler. When he gets in there with someone who can box and move, he will get beaten, it’s as simple as that.
