"We have been blessed with amazing guests and community," said Catrib.

The Facebook post also thanks the employees and the relationships that Marie Catrib's cultivated with local businesses and farms.

"Take care and don’t forget: We Love You, Pass It On," said Catrib.

The post also described a few funny memories from the past 14 years. "We just put our soups out for the day. We went to ladle the first cup for a customer and there was a full yellow legal pad swimming in the soup unnoticed until that moment. My mother said 'Oh my gosh, that is where my recipes went!'"
