Kensington Palace releases massive update on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding: Everything we know so far
With the royal wedding just over two weeks away, Kensington Palace released a *massive* update on Friday that revealed more specific details about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big day on May 19.
Meghan and Harry's press secretary divulged information on need-to-know details -- like if Meghan's parents will be there and the schedule day-of.
Here's everything we know so far about the royal wedding based on this new release:
Will Meghan's parents be there? What role will they play in the wedding?
Yes! According to the release, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland will have "important roles" in the wedding. The father and mother of the bride will be arriving in the UK a week before the wedding, giving them plenty of time to get to know the royal family.
On the morning of the wedding, Meghan's dad Thomas will travel with the bride by car to Windsor Castle. Meghan's dad will also walk her down the aisle of St. George's Chapel. If you recall, many speculated whether Thomas would walk his daughter down the aisle or not given how close Meghan is to her mom Doria.

How about Princess Diana's family? What role will they play in the wedding?
Prince Harry has been candid about how much his late mother meant to him, so it's no surprise that Princess Di's family will be included in the ceremony. According to the press release, Harry is "keen to involve his mother's family in his wedding." All of Princess Diana's siblings -- Lady Sarah McCorquodale, Baroness Jane Fellowes and Charles, Earl Spencer -- will be in attendance. Baroness Jane will give the reading.
What is the breakdown of the schedule on the day of the ceremony?
The Palace broke down what'll happen on the morning of the ceremony, down to the last minute. It's no surprise the Palace left no stone unturned -- it is a royal wedding, after all!
9:00 AM: Members of the public who were invited to be on the grounds of Windsor Castle will start arriving
If you recall, 2,460 members of the public were invited, including 1,200 people were nominated to attend the wedding for their philanthropic work in their communities. According to the release, "the couple are very pleased that their wedding has provided a platform to celebrate the inspiring work of community and youth leaders from around the UK."
9:30 AM-11:00 AM: Arrival of guests at St. George's Chapel
The wedding will definitely be a star-studded affair, but the Palace has remained mum on the official guest list. St. George's Chapel only holds 800 people, so the wedding won't be as big as Duchess Kate and Prince William's Westminster Abbey wedding in 2011.
Around 600 people have been invited to the service itself ... and we're expecting some of Meghan's celeb pals to attend. Some possible guests include tennis star Serena Williams, actress Priyanka Chopra and fashion designer Misha Nonoo. Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham revealed to James Corden that she received a coveted invite.

11:20 AM: Members of the royal wedding to arrive at St. George's Chapel -- by foot or by car
Prince Harry and his best man and brother Prince William will arrive most likely by foot. Around that time, a group of media will follow Meghan's journey from an undisclosed overnight location to Windsor Castle. During this time, Meghan's dress will *finally* be revealed to the world.
12:00 PM: The wedding begins! The service will last around an hour.
Around 1:00 PM: The couple will process out of the church
One of the first things they will do is acknowledge the 200 representatives of Prince Harry's 200 charities. The press release states: "The couple are delighted that these people who will be such an important part of their official work in the years to come will be the first people they see after their wedding."
The Carriage Procession will then occur, which is expected to last about 25 minutes. After the procession, guests will walk over to St. George's Hall for a reception.
The last you'll see of Meghan and Harry is when they leave Windsor Castle to head over to the evening reception at Frogmore House.
