First Choice Emergency Room, the largest network of independent freestanding emergency rooms in the United States, named Lilane Reifenberg, MD as the Medical Director of its new Converse facility.

Dr. Reifenberg received her undergraduate degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas and her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Previously, Dr. Reifenberg served as an emergency physician in the Army for three years, then as an attending emergency physician at the Methodist Hospital system in San Antonio. Prior to joining First Choice Emergency Room, Dr. Reifenberg served as an emergency physician at Baptist Emergency Hospital. Dr. Reifenberg is board-certified in emergency medicine and has over 10 years experience in practicing emergency medicine. She currently lives in Cibolo, TX.

All First Choice Emergency Room facilities are open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The facilities are staffed exclusively with board-certified physicians and emergency trained registered nurses.
