Being a southerner myself I can relate to Eustace and Preston. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers go out to his family and Eustace. He came across on TV as a gentle and compassionate sole. He always gave credit where credit was due. He was a true friend to Eustace when he fell and was hurt. I especially like the hog killing and eating outside as my family also did this on the farm when we were kids. He will be much missed.
