Micromax BOLT D303, with support for 10 regional languages launched

Micromax has launched BOLT D303, a smartphone that comes pre-loaded with 10 regional languages, priced at Rs 3499. The smartphone follows on the legacy of the Micromax Unite series which also came with regional languages.

In the BOLT D303, users can type, chat or change the menu of their phone in their preferred language. The ‘Swipe’ feature of the smartphone is powered by Firstouch which helps the consumers to type faster in their regional language, says the company. The BOLT D303 uses a “patented Regional Keyboard,” adds Micromax and says that the keyboard has 2 lakh words for each language.

The device also has an App bazaar in regional languages which enables the consumers to get over 10,000 apps in their regional languages.

In terms of specs, it has a 1.3GHz dual core processor, a 4 inch WVGA (480*800) display, 3.2 megapixel AF rear camera, 0.3 megapixel front camera, and runs Android 4.4. This is a 3G smartphone and has Wi-Fi Connectivity, Bluetooth as well. It has 4 GB ROM (Expandable to 32 GB via microSD card), 512 MB RAM and a 1300 mAh battery.
