Season 21 of "Dancing with the Stars" is looking to be one exciting season. On top of celebrities being cast for the reality dancing competition, a professional dancer has been confirmed to be making a comeback.

Entertainment Weekly reports that one-time Mirror Ball Champion, Karina Smirnoff, is rejoining the cast of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." The 37-year-old Ukrainian-American dancer had been with the reality dancing competition since season three but went on to take a break in season 20.

She dabbled a bit into acting by starring in the independent film, "Tango Shalom," and also promoted her book, "We're Just Not That Into You: Dating Disasters from the Trenches."

But now, she's back. And she hopes to repeat her winning feat from season 13, when she was paired with "All My Children" actor J.R. Martinez and pitted against Cheryl Burke-Rob Kardashian and Derek Hough-Ricki Lake.

"I was a little nervous about not dancing on the show at all last season. I was doing it for the last 10 years. I had other things to do in my life, but not going back to the show felt like trying to see if I can walk on my own two feet! I've had obvious moments when I missed it," said Smirnoff.

The full professional dancer pool has not been revealed yet but Witney Carson and the most recent Mirror Ball trophy holder, Val Chmerkovskiy, have already been confirmed to be coming back to the show. The rest are expected to be unveiled sometime this week.

There have also been a lot of speculations as to which celebrities are onboard for the new season. Donald Trump, Khloe Kardashian, and Kaitlyn Bristowe are just some of the names that have been mentioned but no one has been confirmed just yet. Morning news talk show "Good Morning America" is expected to reveal the celebrity names early next month.

"Dancing with the Stars" dances its way to season 21 on ABC this Sept. 14, 2015.
