BEACHCOMBER heard that a woman from Sigatoka had been told several times by her mother the story about the “night riders”.
She had always wondered who the “night riders” were and she finally found out last Friday night.
So, after knocking off from work, she decided to head down to Sigatoka to spend the weekend with family.
When she reached her hometown, it was almost midnight so she called her mother to pick her. Her mother’s response was “catch the night riders”.
She was confused so she told her mother: “I can’t find any car here, but only some vehicles parked on the other side.”
Her mother’s reply was: “Qori, saraga the night riders.” Come on mother!
