SEATTLE - The Washington Huskies kick off their spring season next week, taking on the NWSL's Seattle Reign FC on Thursday, March 8 at 6:30 pm. The game will be at Husky Soccer Stadium and will be the first of six spring games for the Huskies. Washington's full spring schedule is available online.
The suggested donation for attendance is $5, with proceeds going to benefit the Austen Everett Foundation. The AEF works to inspire, empower, and improve the lives of kids battling cancer by teaming up with professional and collegiate athletic organizations. Both Washington and the Seattle Reign FC are proud partners of the AEF.
Fans will also have an opportunity to enter a raffle to win Husky and Reign FC prizes. Parking for the game will be $6.
This will be the only spring game for the Huskies before leaving for a week-long Japan trip in mid-March. The spring season will kick back up against on Saturday, March 31 against the University of British Columbia.
