Indiana State defeated McKendree 80-63 on Wednesday night in the home opener for the Sycamores.  The victory gives head coach Greg Lansing his 135th win in his ninth year at the helm of the program.  He is now in sole possession of second place on the all time list, one win ahead of Royce Waltman.  The school record is held by Duane Klueh with 182.
 

Tyreke Key led the way for the Sycamores with a career high 23 points and five rebounds.  Jordan Barnes added 19 points, five steals and four assists.  Devin Thomas and Bronson Kessinger had 10 points each.  With the win ISU improves to 2-1 on the season.  Their next game is Saturday November 24th at home against Western Kentucky.  Tip off is 2 pm.
