Baldwin Shooting Suspect Apprehended

Law enforcement officials had been searching for James King for more than two weeks.

BALDWIN, PA - The suspect in last month’s fatal shooting on Angelo Drive was arrested Tuesday on Pittsburgh’s North Side.

James King, 33, a North Side resident, allegedly gunned down James Frederick Hines, 21, of Clairton, on Dec. 31. King has been charged with criminal homicide, recklessly endangering another person, tampering with evidence and a firearms violation, according to online court documents.

Hines was shot multiple times. He reportedly was a co-worker of King, who is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
