Contemporary Christian Music Artist Angela Cruz In Concert March 27

  • Thursday, February 26, 2004

Contemporary Christian music artist Angela Cruz will perform in a free
concert on March 27 at 5 p.m. at Hamilton Community Church, 7997
Shallowford Road.

Angela said she hopes her music comforts the hurting and motivates others to change.

"This is a ministry that cries for sincerity, honesty, repentance and
the grace of God," said Angela. "This is a ministry that comes from the
heart, touches the heart and, hopefully, softens the heart for God to mold into his will."

Over the last four years, Angela has been singing and recording for
some of the most talented artists in Christian music.

Before moving to Nashville, she toured with group Truth. It was on
the touring bus that she met her husband, Alexis. They have a son,
Benjamin, now almost three.

Since 2000, Angela has recorded live with artists like Carman, Michael
W. Smith, Kirk Franklin, Natalie Grant, Avalon, Charlie Daniels, Cece
Winans, and Bebe Winans.

Angela battles fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder that affects the muscles, and she said she wants people to know that God is with them, even in the pain.

Her first album, called "I Wait," will be available in March.
