Living in the future: x.AI, the robot secretary that lives in your laptop

x.ai, an artificial personal assistant called Amy that can reply to emails, schedule your lunch dates and manage your calendars, surely we are living in the future? The world of technology never sleeps with new developments appearing more frequently than ever before.

This  Telegraph video series, Living in the Future, sees relentlessly curious journalist and gadget-lover Harry Wallop takes some of the latest weird and wacky products for a test drive to see how they fare in the real world and casts his verdict on if we are really living in the future. 

In this episode, Harry tests a piece of software on the forefront of online artificial intelligence technology: 'Amy AI' was founded in 2014 and is an email based personal assistant to aid in planning your meetings, you can simply activate her by CC’ing her into email conversations where she will take over and control them for you. 

The final episode of this series will showcase a product which really is the future of entertainment, the Samsung Gear VR headset.
