After nine months of dating, Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder tied the knot during a ceremony held in Topanga Canyon. "The Vampire Diaries" actor even announced to his fans that his wedding day is his "best morning ever."

Images of Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder's wedding surfaced the internet as the two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony.

In one photo, the husband and wife were seen gazing at the horizon as they held hands while another one showed "The Anomaly" actor carrying the "Twilight" actress as they went down in what seemed like an uphill land.

In his Twitter post, "The Vampire Diaries" actor even said, "Most beautiful morning ever."

The "Twilight" actress wore an elegant fishtail gown with lace sleeves that was designed by Claire Pettibone, Time said.

The designer said, "Nikki was a delight to design for, and I wish the beautiful couple every happiness."

Ian Somerhalder, on the other hand, looked dapper in an all white suit which perfectly fitted his chiseled body.

Weeks before Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder's wedding, rumors claimed that the lovers were planning to tie the knot in a farm where there will be participation of animals.

Both are known animal and nature lovers.

Before marrying Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed was first married to Paul McDonald from October 2011 to March 2014. Nikki Reed's divorce was only finalized early this year.

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder dated his "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Nina Dobrev for three years before they called it quits in 2013, Hollywood Life said in a report.

Due to Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder's engagement and wedding preparation rumors, Nina Dobrev reportedly got affected that she decided to leave the hit vampire show and focus on joining the movie industry.

It was also rumored that Nina Dobrev and Nikki Reed had a conflict on the set of "The Vampire Diaries" because of the "Twilight" star is allegedly too clingy to her actor boyfriend.
