An investigation is underway after the bodies of a mother and son were discovered in an apparent murder-suicide in New Hampshire, officials said Tuesday.Amherst police discovered the bodies of the adult mother and her adult son Tuesday while conducting a welfare check at their home, according to New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph A. Foster.The investigation is ongoing, but in a statement Foster said the deaths appeared to be the result of a murder-suicide.The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct autopsies to determine the exact cause and manner of death, Foster said.
