Croton Point Nature Center, Croton Point Avenues, Croton-on-Hudson – (914) 862-5297. Birders’ U.: Waterfowl Identification Workshop – 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Learn waterfowl identification with experts from Saw Mill River Audubon.

SATURDAY, NOV. 10

Muscoot Farm, Route 100, Somers – (914) 864-7282. Morning Farm Chores – 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Do you have what it takes to be a farmer? Help care for the animals and learn about the ones that call Muscoot home. Fee $6 per person, $20 per family of four. Pre-registration required at (914) 864-7286.

Trailside Nature Museum at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, Routes 35 and 121 South, Cross River – (914) 864-7322. Lenape of Westchester – 1 p.m. Children of all ages will learn what life was like for the people who lived in the area before European settlement by exploring their food, tools, toys, and a traditional wigwam.

Cranberry Lake Preserve, Old Orchard Street, North White Plains – (914) 428-1005 Nature Origami – 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Create your very own frogs, fish, flowers and other plants and animals out of paper. No experience necessary. All ages welcome.

SATURDAY – SUNDAY, NOV. 10 - 11

SUNDAY, NOV. 11

Muscoot Farmers Market – 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. Shop the many local vendors who offer produce and food products every Sunday through mid-November.-and-Butter and Bread – 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Make some bread and butter and learn how these chores used to be done on the farm. Ages 6 and up: this is a drop off program. Fee $5 a person; pre-registration required at (914) 864-7286.
