Marisa appeared in few episodes of season three of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills as a 'friend' of Kyle Richards and clashed with several cast mates including Yolanda Foster.

After just one season, the 40-year-old left the series in 2013.

'I wasn't asked back. It's as simple as that and I'm OK with it,' she told E!Online at the time of her departure.

'Housewives was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and I am grateful that Bravo gave me the opportunity to step into their crazy world.'

Marisa then gave her thoughts on why some ladies are all too eager to join the Bravo series.

'Let's be honest, nobody is going to quit the show unless they have a spin-off because they either need the money or have a business to promote,' she said candidly.

'If a housewife doesn't fall into those two categories, then perhaps she was attracted to the show by the lure of fame and in that case won't be giving it up anytime soon.'

Marisa has two children with her film producer husband Dean Zanuck, whose grandfather was a co-founder of 20th Century Fox.
