Indianapolis Juneteeth Celebration At Flanner House

INDIANAPOLIS, IN β€” Celebrations for Juneteeth will take place Tuesday night, June 19 at Flanner House, to commemorate the 153rd anniversary of the emancipation of slavery. The Juneteeth Celebration Dinner runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and tickets are $15. Juneteeth, an American holiday, commemorates the June 19, 1865 announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas, which liberated the last remaining slaves in the U.S.
