Over the weekend, Riot Fest took over Chicago and saw a large number of performers deliver noteworthy performances. There were also some major covers by its headliner.
On Saturday night, Beck enlisted Gary Numan to aid him with a cover of the latter's hit song "Cars." Numan said he was honoured by the experience:

That wasn't the only high-profile cover, however. As previously reported, Blink-182 had to cancel their headlining slot at the festival due to Travis Barker's blood clots. Concertgoers got the next best thing, however, when Weezer decided to cover "All the Small Things."
