In Saturday’s games Zig Zag Blue drew with Hot Shots 3-all.
Donna Lang and Jordan Hunt were strong at the back as always for Hot Shots with a very close and well contested game.
Sam Dean and the Lemcke sisters were strong in defence for Zig Zag with Kym Wilson having some good shots up the front backed up by Abbey Wilson and Tegan Walsh.
Sam Dean, Ngaire Unsworth and Allanah Lemcke found the back of the net for Zig Zag Blue while for Hot Shots the scorers were Amy Namcarrow, Donna Lange and Bryanna Williams.
Workmens Club Blue and Cruizers could not be separated and the final score was a nil-all draw.
Nat Sharp had a great game, injecting herself into the game and encouraging her team with strong leadership.
Peta O’Meley continues to improve each week for Workmens Club and Christine Watkins never gave up.
Strong defence came from Jenny Dawson and Janine Griffiths for Cruizers.
Lansdowne Jays defeated Workmens Club Gold 3-1: This was a hard game played by both teams with Jays coming out on top.
Best for Jays was Madi Haddon and best for Workmens Club Gold Robyn Miller.
Scorers Lansdowne Jays were Lyndall Marshall, Tayla McLean and Karen Luka and for Workmens Club Gold Robyn Miller found the scoresheet.
