Don Lemon announces his engagement to boyfriend Tim Malone: Who proposed?!
Don Lemon is getting hitched!
The CNN anchor, 53, took to Instagram on Friday to reveal that his boyfriend of about two years, Tim Malone, had popped the question.
"He gave me a present on his birthday. How could I say no?" Lemon captioned a photo collage of two photos of dog tags that said, "Daddy will you marry papa?" that Malone had put on the collars of their two dogs, Boomer and Barkley. Malone commented a heart emoji on Lemon's post.

Malone confirmed the proposal on his own Instagram Stories, saying, "He said YES!"
A slew of high-profile media personalities took to the comments of Lemon's post congratulating the happy couple on their exciting news.
"Oh MY God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Ana Navarro wrote.
"Congrats! I’m so happy for you. This is great news," commented Wolf Blitzer.
"So amazing!!!!! Congratulations Don and Tim !!!!" Tamron Hall said.
Ricky Martin was also excited about the news, writing, "yeahhhh!!! So happy for you guys!"
"Yaaaaaaaaas!!!!!" "The View" co-host Sunny Hostin commented.
Lemon and Malone met in New York City sometime in 2016 and rang in New Year's Eve together in 2017 while Lemon was co-hosting a CNN broadcast during which he knocked back more than a few drinks. One year later, while ringing in 2018, Lemon and Malone shared a sweet kiss to ring in 2018.
Towards the end of 2017, they started to step out more together in public, including an outing to a "Saturday Night Live" after party where they were photographed holding hands.
