Emeli Sande Ties The Knot With Boyfriend In Montenegro

Emeli Sande has married long-term boyfriend Adam Gouraguine in a traditional ceremony in Montenegro.

The 'Read All About It' singer - who has been dating the marine biologist for seven years - wed in a traditional ceremony in the Eastern European country on Saturday and plans to enjoy a ''proper honeymoon'' with her new hubby.

Although few details are known about the ceremony, its been rumoured that it was held at the Porto Montenegro marina, according to locals in the town of Kostor.

A source revealed to the Daily Record newspaper:

''It was a fairly traditional service in the evening. Emeli looked beautiful in a designer dress. Her fiance wore a lounge suit."

''There will be more celebrations before everyone heads home but Emeli now has some time off so will get a proper honeymoon,'' continued the insider.

The 24-year-old Scottish songstress also plans to take her husband's surname, and become professionally known as Emeli Sande Gouraguine.

''I would also love to have a Montenegrin passport. I want to be part of his tradition,'' she admitted.

''I grew up in a family of two different cultural backgrounds, so I embraced both.''

The singer-songwriter, who has an English mother and Zambian father, has also said that when she and Adam have children in the future, she would like them to be a part of both their parents' cultures.
