Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a murder investigation now underway in Cypress Hills.

Police have now confirmed the deceased is a member of the Trinitarios gang. The same gang responsible for the murder of Bronx teenager Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, better known as Junior, back in June.

Police responded to a 911 call of an assault in front of 210 Grant Ave. earlier this morning.

When police arrived on the scene, they saw the victim, a 28-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his back. He was later transported to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests were made and the investigation is still on going.
