Update on power restoration in northern Florida panhandle

Gulf Power crews say they have restored power to 95 percent of customers in Caryville, Bonifay, Chipley, Graceville and Campbellton, 24 hours ahead of schedule.

Crews have been working along side other crews from 15 states. They say they have restored power to 95 percent of Gulf Power customers in Jackson and Holmes Counties ahead of estimated restoration times.

Estimated Restoration Times:

-95 percent restored: Gulf Power customers in Jackson and Holmes Counties: areas north of I-10 in Bonifay and Chilpley, and all of Caryville, Graceville and Campbellton

-95 percent restored: Customers who live in the Cypress and Apalachee areas with mailing address of Sneads

-95 percent restored: Panama City Beach east of Highway 79 to the Hathaway Bridge

-95 percent restored: Panama City Beach west of Highway 79

-By MIDNIGHT, October 24: Downtown Panama City, Callaway, Parker Lynn Haven, Youngstown and surrounding areas.

Current Storm-Related Outage Total as of 5 a.m. Wednesday:

-Bay: 50,215

-Escambia: Restored

-Holmes: Restored

-Jackson: 9

-Okaloosa: Restored

-Santa Rosa: Restored

-Walton: Restored

-Washington: 407
