Man and woman killed in two-car crash near Stroud

Two people have been killed in a two-car crash in Gloucestershire.

The collision between a Volkswagen Golf and a Vauxhall Vectra happened on the Ebley bypass between Stonehouse and Stroud at about 18:45 GMT on Saturday.

The man driving the Volkswagen and his female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The male driver and male passenger of the Vauxhall Vectra were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening or life-changing injuries.

Gloucestershire Police urged anyone with information to contact them.
