Waterloo increases fees for use of the city's firemen's pavilion

WATERLOO -- The Waterloo Common Council approved a resolution authorizing an increase in Waterloo Firemen's Park pavilion rental fees during a brief Waterloo Common Council meeting held Thursday at Waterloo City Hall.

"To help balance the budget of the parks commission, Gabe did a study and came up with these new rates that (are) an increase from what we had before and the parks commission unanimously agreed. People that have reserved park space or have paid for their park space will still get the old rate, but going forward we will use the new rate," Alderwoman Angie Stinnett said in regards to information provided by Waterloo Firemen's Park director Gabe Haberkorn.
