Sarah Palin to headline Denton County Republican Party’s Lincoln-Reagan event

Conservative icon, former vice-presidential candidate, former governor of Alaska and best-selling author Sarah Palin, will be the featured speaker at the Denton County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner Saturday at the Denton Embassy Suites Hotel. The gala banquet will again be emceed by Sen. Jane Nelson.

Officials said Palin is a passionate voice on faith and family who shares her vision for an energy independent, fiscally responsible, and safe secure America. Rising from small-town origins to become a dominant figure on the national scene, she served as the first female governor of Alaska and was the first woman to be a vice presidential candidate for the Republican Party.
