Portia De Rossi will now be starring in the fourth season of hit TV drama "Scandal." In fact, she has just been spotted filming on a street in Los Angeles with a mystery man, who looks a lot like Matthew Del Negro from "Teen Wolf" and "Mistresses." It looks like the known veteran from "Ally McBeal" and "Arrested Development" can also become a political powerhouse as well.

Despite having seen her filming for "Scandal," the details regarding the role of Portia De Rossi in the upcoming season of "Scandal" is being kept under wraps. Last season, it was Lisa Kudrow who guest-starred in the highly watched show. Kudrow's role was a presidential candidate whom Olivia Pope, played by the amazingly beautiful Kerry Washington, got to work with.

Portia De Rossi's participation in the fourth season of "Scandal" was actually leaked online, specifically on Twitter, by Ellen DeGeneres. Her other credits include "Nip/Tuck" and "Better Off Ted."

Washington has recently given a few spoilers regarding the upcoming season with Portia De Rossi in it. Washington said, "It's freeing to play a character who is messy and fully human, who has big feelings and a big life. So, the fact that my character has such a sense of passion is exciting as an actor. It's thrilling to figure that stuff out and take those kinds of risks."

The most shocking moments of the season finale of the show's third season involved President Grant's son, Jerry, who died while Fitz was giving his speech. Surely, these events will have their repercussions on the upcoming fourth season of the highly anticipated drama. In fact, Tony Goldwyn, who plays the character of Fitz, confirmed that his character will still be suffering when "Scandal" returns.

"Scandal," alongside the other dramas created by Shonda Rhimes, such as "How to Get Away with Murder" and "Grey's Anatomy" will be premiering on the 25th of September this year on ABC.
