Baltimore gamers who like the nostalgic sounds of chiptunes and videogame cover bands have been been well-served lately.
The Bit Gen Gamer Fest, now entering its fifth year, will go down at Sonar in Baltimore, Maryland on August 14th.
The annual concert was birthed in 2005 as 8-Bit Gen, a five band showcase held in a private art space. This year's show will host 12 musical acts including Entertainment System, The OneUps, The Megas, Powerglove and The Protomen.
Between sets, DJ Cutman will entertain the crowd with classic video game soundtracks and dance music. Bit Gen Gamerfest 5 is an all-ages show and costs a mere $18.
