PORTSMOUTH – Ani DiFranco, Lord Huron and The Ballroom Thieves will perform during this summer's Prescott Park Arts Festival, organizers announced today.

“The response we’ve been receiving for the acts we’ve announced has been incredible, and we definitely share people’s excitement for the summer ahead,” said Festival President Ben Anderson.

Launching the Festival’s 44th season on Friday, June 15, will be singer-songwriter Ani DiFranco. Back by popular demand after mesmerizing the audience with their rich harmonies last season, The Ballroom Thieves return on Wednesday, June 27. Lord Huron, the folk and indie rock pioneers, will perform in the park on Friday, August 3.

“Table and blanket reservations for our first concert announcement, Band of Horses, sold out immediately,” said Anderson. “One of our newest membership perks is the first opportunity to make a reservation, and people are definitely taking advantage of that.”

“The beauty of Prescott Park is that it’s open and welcoming to everyone, even when these limited reserved spots are sold out,” continued Anderson. There is a suggested $8 to $10 donation for each performance in the park.

Tables and blankets are currently available to season members for reservation and will go on sale to the general public on April 30. Special discount pricing is available for Festival members.
