Tyra Banks to Produce and Star In ‘Life-Size’ Sequel for Disney Channel

Fans of ABC and Disney in the early 2000’s might remember the film Life-Size, a film that aired on ABC’s “Wonderful World of Disney” starring Tyra Banks and a young Lindsay Lohan. Recently, it was announced that Disney is developing a sequel to the classic film, with Tyra Banks at the helm.

Life-Size told the story of Casey (played by Lohan), a young girl whose world is completely changed when her Barbie-type doll, Eve (Banks), magically comes to life. The film drew in 13.6 million viewers during its TV debut in 2000 and saw strong ratings in rebroadcasts over the next decade, in addition to DVD sales of the film.

The sequel will be produced for Disney Channel, where it will air as a Disney Channel Original Movie. Banks is currently set to reprise her role as Eve in the sequel, in addition to serving as an executive producer on the new film.
