Updated

The days of Britney Spears and her panty-free parading may finally be over, as FOXNews.com has learned that the “Crazy” crooner is contemplating a contract with a leading lingerie label.

“A pretty prominent underwear company is very interested in having Britney exclusively endorse their line,” an insider close to the pop princess told Pop Tarts.

“At this stage the deal probably won’t involve any official advertising, but she’ll be required only to wear their products, and I guess somehow she’ll have to work out a way to show those cotton coverings!”

The source added that there are few things that would need to be “ironed out” with the Britster before blanketing her booty with a brand, including formalities to forbid future flesh-flashing.

“It would look really bad if she was caught again without underpants, especially when she has a top lingerie label backing her, so they’ll want to ensure that doesn’t happen,” added the insider.

Perhaps this is another personal push for Brit to get back into the spotlight “One More Time." The “reformed” rehabber is reportedly also working hard to drop some pounds.

“It’s been a stressful time for Britney and she has gained weight,” confirmed a Britney buddy. “But now that she’s on the comeback trail, she’s determined to get back into shape. She’ll be doing a lot more dance classes and she’s given up alcohol.”

But Brit may also be getting some help from Hoodia, with a number of reports suggesting that Spears recently had a big box of the African appetite suppressants home-delivered.

Lauren Conrad Is a One-Word Woman

It's a good thing that “The Hills” hottie Lauren Conrad has a sweet smile and a figure to be envied, because when it comes to publicity, the reality star is a little lost for words.

FOXNews.com caught up with Conrad at last week’s Teen Choice Awards, but found it somewhat galling to keep the gab going…

FOX: You’re up for an award. Are you nervous?

CONRAD: (smiling) No.

FOX: No nerves at all?

CONRAD: No.

FOX: So I guess this is all second nature for you now.

CONRAD: It’s fun.

FOX: Have you got an acceptance speech prepared yet?

CONRAD: No.

FOX: You’re a hot favorite to win. Will you just wing it?

CONRAD: Yes.

FOX: Do you like the surfboard trophies -- do you surf?

CONRAD: No.

FOX: So how is fame treating you?

CONRAD: It’s fun.

FOX: Are you used to all the cameras surrounding you?

CONRAD: Yes.

FOX: But is having cameras follow you 24/7 something you can ever really get used to?

CONRAD: Oh yeah.

FOX: Anyone you want to meet here tonight?

CONRAD: Sure. Don’t know who is here though.

Riveting.

Word on the street, however, is that the beachside babe might have bumped Mischa Barton as the muse for Marc Jacobs.

Conrad is apparently contemplating bringing some of her Hollywood Hills hotness to the New York Fashion Week runway this Sunday, where she may strut some Marc materials.

Brangelina to Nest in New York?

It seems as though Brad and Angie will be doing more than just taking a bite out of the Big Apple.

Rumor has it that the screen sensations are set to settle in the city that never sleeps and have even enrolled their eldest adoptee Maddox in the $18,000-a-year Lycee Francais de New York.

A spy for Page Six spotted the parents dropping their son off at school this week and said they seemed just like any other loving parents.

Paris Hilton Prepping for Pregnancy

Paris Hilton is officially ready to go from parties to parenthood. The hotel heiress has told the U.K. edition of Elle magazine she’s planning to pop as early as next year.

"I just started working out and it feels great. It gives me so much energy," she said. "I want kids next year, so I've got to get my body ready."

And for all the guys out there who wouldn’t mind fathering Hilton's baby, the single celeb has a "Simple" syllabus:

"I used to care about looks, but I've grown out of that stage," Paris said. "They have to be a good person, someone I know would be a good husband, loyal and funny and smart. And somebody I can trust, with good chemistry. But I don't know, I like a guy who can make me laugh."

Speaking of laughter, the reality star also is fed up with her public perception as a comical "cartoon character."

"It makes me mad that I'm such a good person and I'm treated like that by some people -- I just don't get it," she said.

Among the possible fathers ... FOXNews.com spies spotted the "Simple Life" sensation at a recent Hollywood party with the NASCAR Nextel Cup drivers, at which she apparently took a liking to driver Kasey Kahne.

However, the heiress reportedly was rejected but promptly proceeded to work her charm on another driver, Denny Hamlin, who was overheard saying that he has a girlfriend…

Hold Off, Hudson: Owen Wilson's Family Reportedly Rejects Contact With Kate

They once were one of Hollywood’s most comely couples, but it seems Owen Wilson's family wants his road to recovery to be free of his former flame Kate Hudson.

According to a New York Daily News insider, a "frustrated" Kate has been trying to reach out to the saddened star, but her attempts have been nixed by Wilson’s family.

Another source close to the "Wedding Crasher" believes this is probably because Hudson’s new romance deepened Owen’s depression and may have led to his suicide attempt.

"The break-up wasn’t exactly smooth," the source said to FOXNews.com. "I think Kate moving on was all too much for Owen."

Calls to reps for both Hudson and Wilson were not returned.

Is Brad's Gray the New Blond?

While most women still consider Brad Pitt the sexiest star on the screen, the "Benjamin Button" babe has admitted that time has tainted his good looks.

"One thing sucks, your face kind of goes," he admitted to Details magazine. "Your body's not quite working the same. But you earned it. You earned that, things falling apart."

However, some men are happy to see aging men in the spotlight.

"The likes of Brad Pitt and George Clooney definitely are glamorizing gray — [fewer and fewer] men are trying to cover it up," said Claude Daubman, a Los Angeles-based fashion expert and founder of bestswimwear.com. "Men worry just as much about aging, but it's becoming more appealing to go au natural."

Jen Garner Hospitalized for Heat Stroke

Torrid temperatures drove Jennifer Garner to the hospital during a shoot for her new movie, "The Kingdom."

"I was nursing a baby and we were shooting in the desert — I was the wuss who ended up in the hospital quite a few times for heat stroke," Garner told FOXNews.com.

And while the "Daredevil" jokes about her dehydration, an on-set insider said Jen’s condition was scary at times.

"Everybody was very worried about her — suddenly she’d just get all light-headed and violently ill," the source said. "Changes were made to the production schedule to try and help the situation, and we had experts watching over her like a hawk."

And when it comes to movies vs. motherhood, Garner only has eyes for baby Violet.

"I’ve made my mind up that I will only do a film that I really, really love," the star said. "I look at scripts, then I look at my daughter and she wins — I’ve already just had a year off. I’m determined to lie low until a role comes along that really makes me want to work."

Halle Berry Confirms Pregnancy

Halle Berry is finally having a kitty of her own.

The actress, 41, confirmed her pregnancy with model-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's baby in an e-mail to "Access Hollywood."

"Yes, I am three months pregnant," the "Monster's Ball" Oscar-winner wrote. "Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next ... months will be the longest of my life!"

Berry has made her desire to be a mother very clear recently. Her two marriages, to baseball player David Justice and singer Eric Benet, ended in divorce.

Tuesday, TMZ reported that the big-wigs behind the film "Tulia" (also starring Billy Bob Thornton) have pulled the plug on the production as their leading lady is already one-third of the way through her pregnancy.

The film was due to start shooting next month, and Berry was poised to play an attorney assisting a group of black men wrongfully accused of operating a drug ring.

However, the soon-to-be yummy mummy still may have a chance to flex her legal muscles, as producers may pick up the movie again at a later date.

Speculation has been swirling for some time that the sexy star is expecting, as the normally super svelte Berry has been showing an itty-bitty bump beneath her baggy clothes.

'Toxic' Teacher: Spears Educates an Angel

While Britney Spears battles the blues of bad fashion and a custody crisis, it comes as a sweet surprise that the pop princess is opening the eyes of those around her.

"Britney and I have been spending time together discussing some possible work projects," magic man Criss Angel told FOXNews.com.

"But spending time with her has just taught me so much about life. It’s unbelievable — this girl is surrounded by so many prying people 24/7. I’ve near seen anything like it. It’s opened my eyes to the world of fame and put such a new spin on pressure and paparazzi."

But the powerful pair were careful to not let too much out of the bag at the opening of the LAX nightclub in Vegas on Friday night. After sitting back to back for the first few minutes, the songstress finally turned around for some "Mindfreak" fondling.

And despite reports that the ring she was rockin’ on the red carpet was the result of an engagement to the illusionist, FOXNews.com has learned that it is all a load of lemons.

"Britney just loves her diamonds; she has had that ring a while," an inside source told FOXNews.com. "Marriage is definitely the last thing on her mind. She is on the comeback. …"

So while her career is careening upward, her bodyguard has been busted for battery. Julio Cesar Camera has been charged for allegedly punching a prying a paparazzi photographer as he and Spears sauntered from a spa in Sin City.

Pitt Stops in New York, Italy

Brad Pitt and son Maddox get special souvenirs courtesy of the 5-year-old’s favorite player last night — a bat and ball from Derek Jeter, the New York Post reported.

Brad and Maddox joined Spike Lee and his son, Jackson, 10, in Mayor Mike Bloomberg’s box at Yankee Stadium to cheer the Bombers to victory over the Mariners.

Earlier, Pitt was stunned over the weekend when a frenzied fan fought through security and tried to topple him.

Pitt was parading down the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival when a worshipping woman suddenly struck out at the "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" star — but she just wanted to hug the humanitarian.

The wild woman was whisked away by Pitt’s protection posse while the actor continued on his cruise down the carpet.

Kidman's Divorce Drama Drives Miscarriage

She has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, but Nicole Kidman has been unsuccessful in her attempts to have a biological child.

And it seems as though the meltdown of her marriage to the movie mogul in 2001 motivated a miscarriage.

"From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies," the 40-year-old reveals in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.

But this wasn’t the first time the Australia native suffered a miscarriage — Nic also divulges that she lost Tom’s child when she was 23, which sparked their decision to adopt.

Kidman also exposes that she was engaged to somebody else after she and Tom parted ways, sparking speculation that she rendered a rock from rocker Lenny Kravitz, whom she dated in 2003.

"I got engaged to somebody … but it just wasn’t right. I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready."

Avril Lavigne Loves to Laugh at Tinseltown Girls

Avril Lavigne certainly won’t be referring to perennial partiers Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears as her "Girlfriends" anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean she won’t use their wild ways as a means to feel merry.

"The whole thing is just funny to me now," the punk princess told FOXNews.com. "And I also laugh at the focus on celebrities now — I can’t get over how much attention people pay when someone f—ks up. Why are people interested?"

But the "Complicated" crooner couldn’t care less about the answer.

"You know, whatever, I’m sick of them," Avril added. "It is what it is — whatever."

Don’t Blame Brandon for Buying Babes

Oil heir and party-scene boy Brandon "Greasy Bear" Davis credits his bountiful bank balance for being able to hook up with Hollywood hotties like Mischa Barton, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and more recently Australian swimsuit model Cheyenne Tozzi.

"It's not my fault I can buy people," the famed "Firecrotch" mouthpiece told a Pop Tarts spy.

Report: No Child-Endangerment Charges Against Britney

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services will not pursue any possible child-endangerment charges against Britney Spears, OK! magazine is reporting.

In open-court discussion with L.A. County Superior Court Commissioner Scott M. Gordon, Britney's attorney Laura Wasser said, "I spoke several times last week" with the county child-welfare counselor assigned to Britney's case. "It does not appear the county will pursue further action at this time," said Wasser, who appeared with fellow attorney Dennis Wasser, her father.

Mark Vincent Kaplan, attorney for Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline, abruptly cut off Wasser before she could speak another word in open court, asking the commissioner for a closed-court hearing. The commissioner promptly agreed and ordered spectators to leave. The hearing began at 9:02 a.m. and ended at 9:05 a.m.

"It went very well," Laura Wasser told OK! as she left the closed-courtroom hearing later in the day.

Gordon set the next "order to show cause" hearing for Sept. 19.

But from making her private parts public to plunging into parked cars and performing peculiarly at photo shoots, it seems Spears is severely sabotaging her chances of continuing to have full custody of her kids.

"Britney has an unconditional love for her sons; however, her engaging in self-destructive and self-sabotaging behavior seems to be born out of a rejection of rules and responsibility," a psychologist specializing in celebrity and family issues told FOXNews.com.

"She appears out of control, living in her own world."

Another source who has worked closely with Spears added that while the songstress is a loving and nurturing mother, she "has a number of concerns within her own parent-daughter complex to deal with before she can focus on full-time care of Sean and Jayden."

And as K-Fed fights for a more prominent piece of the pop princess’ estimated $737,868 monthly earnings, Spears has continued to sweeten the salary with an estimated paycheck of half-million for the few minutes she spent "hosting" the opening of the new LAX nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday night.

But anyone who blinked would have missed the music mogul.

Spears scooted in with cousin Ali just after midnight, jiggin' and wiggin' with a long white weave, sunglasses and a hat.

After scurrying down the red carpet, Brit yelled "Hey y’all, let’s party" to the frenzied fans inside.

The diva dressed in disguise soon disappeared for a 40-minute bathroom break, another quick appearance and yet another rapid retreat.

But this "Crazy" crooner didn’t call it an early night — after swapping dresses with a new pal in her posse, Spears and magic man Criss Angel hung out at nightspot Noir Bar.

More Than Summer Love: Timberlake and Biel Get Serious

Britney Spears wasn’t the only former Mouseketeer livin’ up her Labor Day weekend in Las Vegas.

Former flame Justin Timberlake was also in the "Toxic" town to put some "SexyBack" into the Kid Rock concert at the Palms Casino and Resort.

But Timberlake took time out to spin in Sin City with Timbaland at JET nightclub in the Mirage Hotel, with the music moguls mixin' and movin' till 5 a.m. on Saturday night.

And although his gorgeous girl, Jessica Biel, wasn’t boogying with her beau in the booth, the comely couple apparently has moved their relationship from fun to forever.

"Jessica is very busy at the moment with so many current and upcoming projects," a close family member revealed to FOXNews.com. "But most importantly, and what’s taking up most of her time, is the fact that she is finally in love with someone she can see herself with forever."

Sneak Peek: 50 Cent Takes On 9/11

50 Cent's new album is set for release on Sept. 11 — and he doesn't shy away from rapping about the tragedy.

"He drops the 9/11 tragedy a few times," one 50 fan told FOXNews.com. "I guess it struck a chord with a lot of people, so there were a few tears among the smiles," the fan said, referring to a listening party at deluxe Japanese restaurant Geisha House in Atlanta late last week.

So while we can expect more sentimental sounds from the music mogul, we also can expect some rappin’ rivalry come Sept. 11 — Kanye West also plans to drop his new set of songs that day.

"I hope they see and understand what's getting ready to happen," 50 Cent said to Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 radio in New York. "I'm coming Sept. 11. If Kanye comes that day, he comes that day. That'll be great…"

Jessica Alba: Kissing Dane Cook 'Like Kissing a Dummy'

Jessica Alba and Dane Cook may be lovers in the upcoming flick "Good Luck Chuck," and they went to the Teen Choice Awards together last weekend, but it seems the dramatic duo isn't so well-matched when it comes to smooching.

"Kissing? Well…," Alba hesitated before telling FOXNews.com, "I don’t really remember. It was like kissing a dummy."

"The dummy was me," Dane quickly commented.

And despite recently breaking up with Cash Warren, the Hollywood "Honey" hasn’t given up hope for happiness in her love life.

"The films I do always have a happy ending," Alba added. "I hope it reflects back to real life."

Word on the street is that Jess already has gotten her "Cash" back and the bond between the two is bolder and better. Alba and Warren were spotted several times together in Los Angeles last week looking lovey-dovey.

Bridget Moynahan Doesn't Want Tom Brady on Sidelines

Despite being proud parents of a new little "Patriot," the rumor has been that mama Bridget Moynahan is making sure her ex Tom Brady still remains a sidelined father — beginning in the hospital when she was giving birth.

But FOXNews.com has learned that Bridget didn't issue a baby ban after all and was "very pleased" that Brady was there during the delivery.

The burly quarterback flew to L.A. last week for the birth of his son, John Edward Moynahan. A Gatecrasher spy reported that Tom wasn’t allowed in until after the baby was born, and even then, only for a limited amount of time because his former flame refused to even be in the same room.

Tom and Bridget broke off their long-term love affair late last year after the football star fell for supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

And it seems Tom and Gisele are getting closer to spousal status. Bundchen recently canceled the Sydney segment of her September visit Down Under to promote her new shoe collection, with a source splurging that the change of schedule is due to some significant plans with her beau.

"Gisele has cut short her trip so she can get back to Tom sooner," the insider told FOXNews.com. "They’ve moved a long way in their relationships and have some important plans for their future together."

The Great Disappearing Brit?

Britney Spears might use her magician friend, Criss Angel, to help her vanish into thin air.

Spears will disappear and then reappear "several times" during her upcoming, much-buzzed-about performance at the MTV "Video Music Awards" Sept. 9, The New York Daily News reported.

Her dancers will be rigged up in harnesses for "simulated flight," according to the paper.

Sanjaya to Lose His Famous Locks?

Forget Britney and Mena Suvari — the latest Hollywood hottie contemplating a crusade with the clippers is former "American Idol" finalist Sanjaya Malakar.

"It’s something I’ve been thinking about. Change is good," he told FOXNews.com. "We’ll see …who needs hair, anyway, right?"

And with a forthcoming album, Malakar admitted his readiness for a new 'do. So with all this hair-free hype happening in Hollywood, perhaps it's time to buy stock in the wig market.

Meanwhile fellow friend and "Idol" winner Jordin Sparks says she won’t touch shears but has a thing for tears.

"When I heard my single on the radio for the first time I cried," she splurged. "I was so overwhelmed. I still get all teary when I hear it. But I‘m just in my element at the moment; I’m so excited — life is good."

Sparks has some suggestions for those who want to go before the "Idol" judges.

"Make them listen to you," she cautioned. "And take a camera. You’re gonna want to capture the memories."

Ashton: An Accessory?

It turns out Mr. Kutcher isn’t really an actor, he’s an accessory who exists to "highlight" his missus — and he wants all males to take on the same role.

Demi Moore's husband offers these and other words of wisdom in the upcoming issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

"When it comes to getting dressed, men are a little bit more important than handbags but less important than shoes," Ashton advised. "At any rate, we are merely accessories."

And don’t ever tell your man that he "cleans up well," because according to Ashton, all guys want to feel like the guardian.

"We want to feel dirty, rugged and, most important, that you feel safe when you are in our company," he told the mag. "So when your guy finally tries on something that you like, tell him that he looks like James Bond or Tony Montana."

Trump's Favorite Miss Universe Says Staying Slim Is Impossible

Although Donald Trump recently referred to her as "the best and most beautiful Miss Universe we’ve ever had," 2004 Australian titleholder Jennifer Hawkins has admitted that along with the life of a pageant princess comes problematic pound-packing.

Various beauty queens like 2006 Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera and the troublesome "Miss USA" Tara Conner came under criticism for filling out their figures throughout the year, but a life of luxury means a life of living a little larger.

"It is really hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle," Hawkins dished to FOXNews.com. "I did gain weight. I knew I would — it's hard not to. You have to eat a lot of different foods because sometimes it can be insulting to a culture if you don’t. It is also hard to exercise on the road, and plane food is a killer for maintaining weight."

As for whether Miss Conner’s bad behavior and rehab rendezvous late last year have tarnished the tiara, Hawkins doesn't think so.

Conner "seems to have received the right help for her problems," Jennifer said. "Trump is a smart man. He knows what he is doing."

And although some may think Trump's decision to house Miss Universe with sash sisters Miss USA and Miss Teen USA spells stress, it seems there's no time for sniping.

"We didn’t actually see much of each other all year — we were always in different countries," Hawkins admitted. "But I still speak with (Miss USA 2005) Shandi Finnessey a lot on the phone."
